SNOW MUCH FUN!

I have to admit I absolutly love the snow.  While I didn't venture out in it yesterday I did manage to get out today to take some video of my girls sledding.  I have to say I wish I had some snow pants of my own to put on and get in on the action.  Unfortunatly since we moved to Virginia there hasn't been a need for snow clothes here.  So my girls don't have any, which puts them in mine.  The only two pairs I own, one for each daughter.  It also saddens me that they are big enough to wear them. They grow up so quickly.  I hope you are enjoying your Sunday where ever it is that you are.  This is the day the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it.  Thank you Heavenly Father for the Snow! It is a huge blessing to me and my soul rejoices!

It also makes me feel very lazy so not much couponing got done like I had planned out in my head :(  Good coupons in the paper today if I was able to get to the store I would be purchasing extra copies!

Good Day to Organize

Hey all you Hampton Roadies, today is a good day to organize your coupon style! Unless you are out playing in the snow.  I love the snow but I am not much one for playing in it anymore.  I leave that to my hubby and the kids.  All who are having a great time is this wonderful blessing poured out upon us.  Hope you enjoy the day whatever it is you are doing.

Couponing Seems Scary

Thank you to all of you who came to my Digiorno House Party where we discussed how to coupon.  I know that it all seems very overwhelming and you are not going to make great bargains everytime right off the start.  Keep in mind it takes about a month before you really start to build up your coupon binder.  The more you accumulate the more deals will become available and seem very appealing.

Start with the grocery store you normally shop at and pick one drug store program to start.  Remember when you sign up for anything that requires an e-mail make a separate account just for those things.  I have two that way I don't get a lot of spam and junk to my everyday e-mail I use all the time.

I am excited for you to begin your coupon journey and can't wait to hear about the deals you find.  Some of you have already shared.  Remember this is suppose to be fun not stressful!

I am too still trying to make my way around all these deals.  There are soooo many.

Today my husband needed some pain meds for a medical procedure he had done.  Since it was a new prescription I was able to use my ECB I had received at CVS. A $25 dollar gift card for a new or transferred prescription.  The prescription was $10.00 so I made 15.00.  Pharmacies run these deals all the time so keep your eye out.  Last time I got one done at Target and got 10.00 back.

Pepsi

Both Walgreens and CVS have great Deals on Pepsi Products.

This week I bought 5 cases of 12 pack Pepsi's and 2 Bags of Tostitos Chips for $20, I got back $10 Rewards at Walgreens.

At Cvs I purchased 6 cases of 12 pack Pepsi for 20.00 and got back $10 in ECB's.

Both make them less than 2.00 a 12 pack and that is a great deal for Pepsi!

Bounce Dryer Bar

Have you tried the new Bounce Dryer Bar yet?  I purchased one a few weeks ago when I had a 1.00 off coupon and used it on a double dollar coupon day at Farm Fresh. I think it ended only costing me a dollar or 2, I tell you what I love that thing.  It sticks to the inside of your dryer, good for 2 months and no longer need to add fabric sheets.  Works Great I will buy it again even if I have to pay full price, well worth it.  Hoping I get some good coupons for it though!

Fun with Coupons

I am starting this blog because I have found a new fun adventure, Couponing.  I love to share with others great ways to save money and share any deals that I find.  I know that there are several great sites out there and encourage you all to use them regularly.  They have helped me tremendously in finding great deals.  

I am hoping that this site will help me keep in touch with all my coupon friends so they too can share in the savings.
